What Are Analytical Skills?
OK, what are analytical skills? It is the ability to solve problems and concepts by applying critical and logical thinking to available information.
As with any skill, it can be learned and taught, but it will require a lot of practice and patience.
How To Develop Analytical Skills?
1) Read books. Reading allows you to convert meaningless data into useful information. For example, in my article about dating I’ve listed signs that indicate if a girl is interested in you. If you had not read that post, you, probably, wouldn’t have known that when a lady laughs at your unfunny jokes, chances are that she really likes you.
2) Study math. Usually, math makes me want to vomit, but there is one subtopic I found interesting – geometry. By analyzing two and three dimensional shapes, you can improve your logical skills, deductive reasoning and problem solving skills.
3) Play chess. Developing the ability to think at least 5 moves ahead will come in handy.
4) Learn how to ask the right questions.

5) Develop your observation skills. If you can’t see the whole picture, then you won’t be able to solve a problem.
6) Improve your memory. As I’ve pointed out in the first point, a thorough analysis requires you to use as much information as possible. Why not store all the information inside your head and make it easily available to you?
