What Are The Best Languages To Learn?
As a multilingual person, I have the luxury of talking to different people from different countries and cultures. Not only does it help me in my personal life, but also when I’m doing business.
In this article I will list languages that, in my opinion, are worth learning. Of course, you don’t have to listen to my advice, and just pick something out of passion (like Japanese, after watching a few great anime series). There is nothing wrong with that, but speaking a language that is widely used can significantly increase your market value.
What Are The Best Languages To Learn?
1) English – No matter where you go – people speak English. Even if you are a native speaker, it would not hurt you to enhance your vocabulary by reading intelligent books.

2) Mandarin – hardly anyone can deny that China is the rising super power of the modern era. From an economic standpoint, they have surpassed the United States in many areas. Right now Mandarin isn’t that influential, but that can change in the next 10-20 years.
The downside is that this language is difficult to learn, as there are many symbols in their alphabet.
3) Spanish – it is spoken and understood in many countries. By learning this language you can communicate with people in Spain and in many Central and South American countries.
The reason why Americans should learn Spanish is because white people will soon be in a minority.
4) Russian – This language is well understood in the former Soviet bloc. As of 2013, Russia is still recovering from past economic shocks, but even now you can see that this country is a gold mine, despite the high level of corruption.
5) French – It’s one of the most popular languages on the planet, and is used in at least 25 countries.
6) Arabic – If you plan to do business, then you shouldn’t ignore the Arabic-speaking world, as it is a significant contributor to the world’s economy.
